I engineered the Grand Island Recliner designed by HOK for David Edward. The recliner had to be durable enough for 20+ years use in hospitals while being comfortable for patients and easy to use by staff.
Steve Barstool, Wrigley Field Chicago Il
I created the Steve Barstool based off of the Steve Lounge by Populous Design. Both pieces have complicated joinery and upholstery that are a challenge for mass production. The barstool also must to stand up to the rigors of outdoor use at one of the most trafficked stadiums in the world.

I designed and engineered the new tuxedo sofas for the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC as a modern update of their existing sofas.

I engineered three pieces for the renovated Hackerman House at the Walters Art Gallery. Each piece has a unique challenge related to the 200 year old house they are being installed in.
fuller side table
I designed and engineered the Fuller side table for David Edward. The design attempts to emulate the look of European soft seating using a modular wood assembly with a total of 3 unique wood parts organised into two assemblies.
